PROJECT
Summary

Multi-phased, new addition project that was performed while students continued to occupy the facility. In addition to providing for additional classroom and activity space, plans called for enlarging the existing cafeteria including the installation of an additional serving line to prepare for future growth.

Enhancing the learning environment, special attention and coordination was given to providing colorful finish details in the flooring and on the walls. For example, the panda-bear image in the floor was custom designed and made at the factory using 2x2 VCT tiles. Students were equipped with many additional data-connections and an activity room boasts a 21-foot radius glass wall.

The project scope called for the demolition of existing brick and block walls to tie in the new structures with the existing facility. On the exterior, the entrance canopy was extended to fill almost the entire bus loop.
