PROJECT
Summary

This facility was built to serve the community by promoting travel and tourism in the area. Blended into the plan, it also serves as the office for the local Economic Development Authority and Chamber of Commerce. Utilizing a design-build approach, Evans Construction worked closely with architect John Hopke to create a space that would be inviting for visitors, incorporate office space, and easily allow for future expansion.

The design of this Colonial-style building includes office space, conference room, restroom facilities, and storage areas. The main focal point, a 2-story center atrium, is used to exhibit information and display the history of New Kent County.
