Design/Build Approach for Church Construction
Evans has vast experience helping congregations build, and in fact, we've performed construction services for 90+ religious facilities. All of our church construction projects are ones of great pride, and as a Christian, family-run company, these projects become very personal. Our specialty is providing a design/build approach within a collaborative team effort. This provides our clients the greatest control of cost, value, and quality from the beginning of the design process to the completion of the project.
Integrated Project Delivery
We approach our church construction projects with what is often referred to these days as Integrated Project Delivery, or also coined, Integrated Practice. These industry terms generally refer to the same style of project approach. Recently endorsed by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), this project management philosophy is seen by many as the preferred method for church construction. It centers around bringing all key players in on the project, right from the start, and preferably during the design phase. Bringing together the church with key specialty trades allows the building committee to make educated design choices based on feasibility and cost impact. Getting all key players in on the project early ensures that the contracting team truly understands the congregation's needs and wants.
